<p>I had a portlet with &lt;iframe&gt; tag in it. All the JS problems that I had was due to it. I must have written;</p> <blockquote> <p>&lt;iframe&gt;...&lt;/iframe&gt;</p></blockquote> <p>and Liferay has problems with</p> <blockquote> <p>&lt;iframe /&gt;</p></blockquote> <p>Anyway, this little change resolved my problem. <p>In a page with <strong>classic theme</strong>, I have installed a portlet. When I open the dockbar to add an application, I cannot install any of the displayed portlets. Some portlet categories are open and others are closed. I cannot open any closed portlet categories either. By checking the browser console, I see the following JS error:</p> <pre><code class="language-javascript">Uncaught TypeError: A.DD is undefined</code></pre> <p>Interestingly, the portlet doesn't contain any Javascript file or &lt;script&gt; tag in jsp files.</p>
