Nginx, ...) and app servers you use and how you connected
them(relevant lines of config)</p>
<p>Do you have a firewall between the proxy and the server?</p>
<p>One thing that bit me before are timeouts/lost connections. e.g. the
ajp connector has an infinite timeout, while e.g. Apache has a default
timeout of 60 seconds (I think)</p>
<p>You should configure the same timeout in the proxy and in the tomcat connector.</p>
<p>You can check the connection status on your server using netstat, if

<p>We are using Liferay DXP 7.2(liferay-dxp-7.2.10-ga1).</p>
<p>I am getting 502 proxy error(Error reading from remote server) and
not able to access the server until I restart Application Server. I am
not able to find root cause for this error and also I am not getting
any errors in logs. I don't know whether it is due to any activity
performed on server or any other reasons.</p>
<p>PFB Error:</p>
<p>The proxy server received an invalid response from an upstream server.</p>
<p>The proxy server could not handle the request GET/</p>
<p>Reason<strong>: Error reading from remote server</strong></p>
