<p>I'm working with Liferay 7.2 and I need to fetch some data from an
external database which is not managed with Service Builder (the
tables already exist and I have just read-only access to the database).</p>
<p>Which is the best way to implement this kind of integration?
Basically I would like to implement my own DAOs and my custom SQL
queries trying not to add additional dependencies other than the one
already inlcuded by default in Liferay</p>
