Hi Fernando,
There is not much of a future left for Liferay Sync. The product team has decided to deprecate Sync in Portal 7.3. The connector and client apps will still be release for 7.3, but will likely be fully removed in the next major release of Portal. Sync has been in maintenance mode for quite some time now, so there are no plans for future active development.

Hi guys!
I've quit using sync some time ago because of instability but I still think it would be a useful thing to have in Liferay Portals.
On the marketplace, the last version available is for 7.2 GA2. On Portal 7.3 references to Sync have been removed and replaced with webdav.
I don't think webdav is a good replacement, because it has bad performance editting files in-place.
Is there any future for Liferay Sync?
TIA
Fernando
