I've seen some issues with more complex (stateful) widgets on Content Pages (e.g. MessageBoard would be a candidate as well). You might run into similar issues, especially as you're on 7.2
I haven't tried them in 7.3 yet.

It's just my personal opinion, but in 7.2 Contentpages are still pretty unusable (except for edge cases). Many of the nice features were only introduced in 7.3 and lots of things don't work. The code was reworked a lot since then and even in 7.3 GA5 there are some glaring issues.

Hi Christoph,We are using 7.2.1 (patched) but - even with FireFox - the Knowledge Base on a Content-Page is unusable out of the box.

Which version do you use?
I just tried with 7.3 GA5 and it works for me (at least with Firefox). I have only created two articles, edited one, switched between them, but the things I tried worked.

I recently tried out the Knowledge Base - Widget from Liferay.
On Widget-Pages it works as expected while on Content-Pages it is not working at all. (You can't click on articles, can't switch article-pages with controls - It's just completely unusable)
So my question is: Is this a known issue or am I wrong assuming that you can the liferay-widgets on both type of pages?
We advertised the Content-Page to our customers... and face now such problem.
Any tipps how we can still make use of the Knowledge-Base.
