Personally I prefer exporting to XML files and then doing a resources importer (extension) import to pull everything in. Usually some sort of extension is necessary to deal with compatibility issues or asset lookups, but otherwise I want to eliminate copy-n-paste as much as I can.

Not easy by any stretch of the imagination but migrating a site to Liferay? Is a rebuild exercise in copy paste and when Alloy Editor can't handle paste correctly what chance do people have of bringing content to Liferay?
