Hi Jan,I don't have an answer for you (yet) but I am about to troubleshoot a similar problem for one of my clients. They upgraded to 7.0.94 as well, but for a 6.2 GA6 instance and have errors showing in the log. When I resolve it, I'll report back here (which is why I am replying -- to keep track of the thread)I will say this though -- best not to just upgrade tomcat directly like this. The "supported version" is the one that ships with the Liferay Bundle. Updating it to a newer version is likely (as you can see) going to cause problems. 6.1.2 is also a much older version of the product -- maybe time for an upgrade? ... I'll let you know what I find.

Hi,
I updated tomcat from version 7.0.67 to 7.0.94 for my liferay(v. 6.1.2) instance . After upgrade I had problem with open "Control Panel->Server->Server Administration". Page was empty, i didn't see any tabs. In logs i found logs "_jspService is exceeding the 65535 bytes limit...". I tried to follow http://tomcat.10.x6.nabble.com/JSP-compilation-65535-bytes-limit-td5063388.html https://liferay.dev/forums/-/message_boards/message/110648980.
There was no results after add param "mappedfile". I resolved this problem by add additionaly param "trimSpaces". Now I can see and browse tabs in "Control Panel->Server->Server Administration" but when I open Control Panel it looks that some styles aren't working(please see atachment). I didn't noticed problem on public page. I don't see any error in logs.
Does anybody know what can be wrong now? What I can should do to start debug it? I don't know how to do anything like that.
