Hi all,

Slightly off-topic, I would suggest that these apps (chat, email, etc.) that are no longer supported by Liferay could be maintained by the community, if enough people are interested. For that, all Liferay would have to do would be to maintain an index of those projects and their status, on community.liferay.com.

Other people could contribute to that project list, too. There have been several projects for Liferay over the years that have died in silent because there's nobody to take over. If they were to be shared and publicised maybe they could be still alive today and the Liferay ecosystem would be richer.

HTH

Fernando

As we all know, Liferay's chat portlet is no longer available, at least for 7.1 and above. What are some good alternatives to integrate chat into Liferay? One that can work with SSO login. Would like to hear from your experiences.
