If you are deploying it, does that mean that you are now successfully building it?

How are you deploying the file? Are you using the deploy target, or are you copying the war file into the deploy directory?

What do you see in the log when you deploy? Do you see confirmation messages that it has been successfully started?

gulp cli 2.1.0
local version 4.0.0

after deploying war file it is not showing available theme now

Hi Ram,

First, I doubt the version of windows will make a difference here given that Java has no dependency on your OS.

Second, can you clarify which version of Liferay you are using? That post is quite old (almost 2 years) and was written for 7.0.

Third, you don't need to go through some of those steps because running the build or the deploy task will often include other gradle tasks. For example, I don't think I have ever run the buildTheme task.

Have you tried running either the build or the deploy tasks? if you are still getting errors, can you try adding the --stacktace to see if there are any clues in it?

A little advice maybe to start. If you are looking for help in the forums, where people are offering the time and expertise for FREE, you might consider taking the time to post a question that makes it feel like you are genuinely tried to solve the problem yourself and are seeking guidance. All you have posted here is an error and said "help me".

A most useful approach might be to give a little background.

1. Are you building using the gradle wrapper? or gradle direct?

2. Is this a new theme or a theme that has been migrated from an earlier version of the portal?

3. Have you tried running with --stacktrace to see if there are any clues in the details?

.. you know stuff like that. I'm not sure how you can expect us to help when we have no idea what you are doing.
