I have a mailto link like below:

email
 us

And when I click on the link, it redirects me to the homepage with
this url https://mywebsite.org/?subject=Title and not open my email client.

Found out the problem was with the extension of my email being the
same as my website url (mywebsite.org), because when I do this:

email us

It works just fine. Any ideas on how to work around this? I'd prefer
not to have to change the email's extension.
