<p>What I would check first is the browser console to see if there are any javascript issues or if it's waiting a long time to load a resource.</p> <p>If it's the server that's taking a long time, taking some thread dumps while it's processing should tell you what it's doing.</p>

<p>I have custom portlet, it shows records from database.</p> <p>If I put it under control panel I have performance issue - looks like request wait something. Business logic works fast (&lt;100ms), but page rendered 5-10s.</p> <p>In the same time same portlet on site working extremly fast.</p> <p>No idea what what happens (additional calls or another magic or whatever).</p> <p>No idea. Please help.</p>
