<p>Hi guys,</p> <p> </p> <p>I'm following the <a href="https://dev.liferay.com/en/develop/tutorials/-/knowledge_base/7-0/leveraging-search">excellent guestbook development tutorial</a> and downloaded the  <a href="https://github.com/liferay/liferay-docs/tree/master/develop/tutorials/code/com-liferay-docs-guestbook">sample code from github</a>. I'm using the 7.0  branch code (BTW, the 7.1 code seems to be missing some functionality, same as the docs, at this point).</p> <p>After deploying, I can do the search in the portlet and I can get an asset publisher to list the guestbooks and entries. </p> <p>But, when I use the global search portlet, the guestbook assets are displayed only with a generic designation and no data from the actual asset is shown (screenshot attached). The AssetRenderer doesn't seem to be invoked.</p> <p>Any ideas why this happens? Is something missing in the AssetRenderer? ... some config?</p> <p> </p> <p>TIA</p> <p>Fernando </p>
