  it seems to me that essential Alloy functionality is moving to Clay,
  but I don't seen any validator there. Besides, we have no Clay in 7.0.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt; &lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Since Alloy UI is no longer being developed, I'm looking for 
  alternatives for the front-end in Liferay 7.x. &lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;In the present case, I'd like to know if we have anything like the
  aui:validator for the 7.0 version. &lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;I've looked into the clay taglib in 7.1 but I couldn't find
  validation. Anyway, It's a bit too soon for me to go into 7.1.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;I know there are many good form-validating projects that work with
  jquery and/or bootstrap but I'd like to know if there's something
  already included in Liferay.&lt;/p&gt;
