    <summary type="html">Yes Ram,&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;LR CE is community edition and comes up with LGPL or MIT licence.&lt;br /&gt;So you can use and host this web application.&lt;br /&gt;Also you can use any hooks and OOB portlets (which has MIT licence) as well.&lt;br /&gt;But if you want any support(like any patches for bugs) from liferay then better you choose LR EE .</summary>

It is an open source product.&lt;br /&gt;(2) You can use CE edition to develop web applications and host them. But being a community edition, you will not get official support from Liferay.&lt;br /&gt;(3) It would be better if you check this with Liferay.
