Adding site to liferay keeps showing processing gif

I am trying to add a simple site to my new liferay installation .

When I enter name of site and click on button Add, it just keeps showing processing gif icon inside "Add" button for ever.

And when i close this pop up window, I see that the sites are created.

I created two sites for testing namely "Raylife" and "Masterclass". Bot are listed as shown in above snapshot.

I have the same issue in Production in 7.3 but not in QA. Still trying to figure it out because sites were creating just fine weeks ago in our live server. In my case the site creation just spins and doesn't actually create the site. Do those site templates have content pages by any chance and does the same thing happen if you use the "Blank" site template?

Do you have access to your database? There might be a system event table that is filled with junk. reducing the size of that table may unstick the site creation process.

Please check if any JS error in developer tool.
