Selecting a option on a variant with multuple images = thumbnail duplicated

Hi all,

See attached. When we have a product with variants and multiple images when a variant is selected then the thumbnails get duplicated. i.e you end up with two of the same image instead of two different thumbnails. This only seems to affect new products with variants. The demo data does not seem to exhibit this behaviour.
