LIferay and OpenJDK 11
So it seems like the whole Java world will be changing in January when Oracle move to commercialize support for JDK 8 and who knows what will happen with JDK 11. Since JDK 9 and 10 have been deemed to end of life does any one knows if or when Liferay plans to move to supporting OpenJDK 11?

There is also this one too that may help: https://community.liferay.com/blogs/-/blogs/liferay-jdk-compatibility-roadmap
Yes I did see this as well Jamie but thank you anyway. This article was very informative as well.
As a side note I've got this other thread where I'm experimenting with version of OpenJDK:
