RE: How to build a page with automatic list of web content
Hi All.
I am new to LifeRay.
I am building a pilot for an
application digital archive to store documnts as files and html text pages.
I desire build a page whit an automatic list of web contenet (=html content) as the list of documents, but I can't find a widget and/or a metod to do this with web contents.
Is it possibile to do this page?
How do build this page?
I am using Liferay 7.4.3 CE GA 120.
Below is a image the result I
attend for web content.
Tanks in advanced to all.
Hi Stefano
For HTML content storage you sould look into "content and data / web content", and create some "BasicWebContent" items with your HTML data.
For Document storage you should look into content and data / documents an media, and upload your documents there.
After adding your content, you aggregate it with collections, in Site builder / collections
For creating pages, you should look into Site Builder / Pages to create pages where you display your content.
In these pages, you can add static content (headers, paragraphs, etc) and dynamic content (collection displays). Inside the collection display items, you can add fragments and map them to you structure/document fields.
Check https://learn.liferay.com/ and https://www.youtube.com/@liferay/videos for more info
Hope this helps
Fernando
Thank you!!!
Your suggestion runs. I attached the screenshot.
I have a new question: I expected the items in the list have a link to original contentet, but isn't so. Wath I do wrong? Maybe I mismatched in the mapped filed in the building page proccess?
Instead with the document list, insted, evryting is ok.
thank again in advanced.
