The requirement is to have generated root by Display Page
Template on exact pace of the sitemap (SEO, robots).
Actualy, you can use a Display Page Tempate for Object or sturcures,
but the url, under wich is displaed is fixed and
start with Liferay defined exact paths eg. /o , /p e.t.c
The idea is, when is the display page template created and assigned
to the exact content structure or object, even
Commerce would benefit from this, there will be and automatic
(generated) page template detail page
related to this Display Page Template.
Placing such a Page Template Detail to the page
strucutre will define, where the Diplay Page Temate generated
detail pages for object and structures
begin. Say DPT root page. It can
replace the fixed roots, defined by liferay to that locations, once used.
There could be even multiple such detal Display Page
Template related page rootPages, if the customer need to mutiple
roots. Considerint such a generated page template assigned to the
exact diplay page template can have a structure or Objects
filter options. This would be exacly, what our business
needs. Placing the Objects, structures details to exact site
locations, and filter acording e.g. categories or what is required.
Thanks for takeing this idea in consideration. I do not know, the
full story and Liferay intents, but this is a way, how to optionaly
make whole system even more configurable.
