Under Liferay 7.3 and earlier versions, we were able to make
redirects in all environments, we used to configure it by using the
"urlrewritefilter.jar", "urlrewrite.xml" and the
"UrlRewriteFilter" portion of web.xml
But under Liferay DXP 7.4 the same is been removed and moved to a
module and redirects has to be configured under the portal as per the
information shared by Liferay support, and we did followed the same
instructions hence we should be allowed to do the same activities as
we used to do under Liferay 7.3 and earlier versions i.e. we should be
allowed to configure and make redirects in all environments.
But Liferay DXP 7.4 is not allowing us to do it under staging
environment, we are seeing this as a show stopper from upgrading our
system to LIferay 7.4, hence please suggest us how do we get a
solution to this problem and proceed further.
