Use Case:

Create an Object Entry on a Display Page from a releated Object, and map the newly created Object to the Object which is shown on the Display Page

Pre Requirement:

Create two different objects. Lets call it "A" and "B"

Each Object has one text field which is "title + object name". So i have the following fields in the objects:

  • Object A: Field => titleA
  • Object B: Field => titleB

Furthermore there is the following relationships:

  • Object A has a one to Many Relationship with Object B (Object A can have multipele Object B entries)

Further preparations:

  • Create a Default Display Page Template for Object "A" and place a Form Container on it.
  • The Form Container should be mapped to Object "B"
  • Create an Object Entry for Object "A"

Example Use Case:

  • Open the Display Page for the newly created Object A entry
  • Create an Object Entry for Object "B" on the Display Page from Object "A"
  • The newly created Object Entry (Object "B") should automatically whiten the relationship from Object "A"
  • The important thing: The user shouldn´t have to select the relationsship entry to Object A manually
