RE: Object Display Page - Form Container Mapping
Use Case:
Create an Object Entry on a Display Page from a releated Object, and map the newly created Object to the Object which is shown on the Display Page
Pre Requirement:
Create two different objects. Lets call it "A" and "B"
Each Object has one text field which is "title + object name". So i have the following fields in the objects:
- Object A: Field => titleA
- Object B: Field => titleB
Furthermore there is the following relationships:
- Object A has a one to Many Relationship with Object B (Object A can have multipele Object B entries)
Further preparations:
- Create a Default Display Page Template for Object "A" and place a Form Container on it.
- The Form Container should be mapped to Object "B"
- Create an Object Entry for Object "A"
Example Use Case:
- Open the Display Page for the newly created Object A entry
- Create an Object Entry for Object "B" on the Display Page from Object "A"
- The newly created Object Entry (Object "B") should automatically whiten the relationship from Object "A"
- The important thing: The user shouldn´t have to select the relationsship entry to Object A manually
