After applying a newly created theme to the Look and Feel of a Site's pages, I can only see Permissions and Configuration Templates when trying to configure a widget.

Steps to Reproduce:

  1. Generate a theme with the Liferay theme generator.
  2. Start the bundle and log in as admin.
  3. Deploy the created theme.
  4. Add a widget page and drop an out-of-the-box widget on it.
  5. Apply the theme to the page.
  6. Edit the page and click on the three dots in the top right corner of the widget.

Version: :Liferay 7.4

FYI, I have tried to create a theme for 5 to 6 times,


Can anyone please help to identify the cause and solution for this...

Hi, 

There is a change in portal.ftl.

change  <@liferay_portlet["icon-options"] to <@liferay_frontend["icon-options"].

Try this change once.

Hey Fazal, Which browser are you using?

Many things are not working well in chrome from LR 7.4, Try opening in Firefox browser and Let me know.
