For bug reports, it is important to capture details from the reporter
that may be significant in evaluating the bug.
Some examples include OS, Java version, Liferay version, DXP vs CE,
Database, and likely others.
Asking for bug reports via Ask will likely miss entering these
obvious details into the message box.
This feature request is to add additional fields, likely populated
from pick lists, to all posts of type "bug report". I would
defer to the Liferay team that will be processing these bug reports to
determine what data to request and whether the given elements are
required or optional.
The business justification for this feature request is it will
provide relevant information for the Liferay review team to evaluate
each bug report, and it will also prompt the reporter to include these
details that they might otherwise be unaware how necessary they are to
evaluate the submission.
This will save time for the reporter as well as the Liferay team when
dealing with bug reports submitted via Ask.
