RE: User role with limited access to content locale
Hi there.
I'm trying to create a user role for content managers but I
would like to limit their access to the contents that has it's own
locale flag. As far as I understand we can have permissions by site
but inside of it, the user can access to every web content with no
limits, unless we define the user permission folder by folder or
content by content.
However, I'd rather to limit the writing
permission by locale, I mean, all user could access to all site
contents but if they have an, for example, "Spanish Editor"
role, they only can change the Spanish flag fields because the other
flags wouldn't be editable.
Is that possible? How could I implement this kind of user permission?
Thank you.
I haven't seen that being possible (and personally would shy away from the maintenance burden)
Personally, I rather trust my authors to know what language they're able (and supposed) to edit.
