Hello everyone. I wonder if it’s possible to customize or even create my own theme for the marketplace? If you have experience in this, could you please guide me through? Thanks in advance for your help.

Developing a Theme for a Liferay Commerce based site is no different than other type of site.  You can follow the documentation here:  https://learn.liferay.com/dxp/latest/en/site-building/site-appearance/themes/theme-development.html.
