Liferay Sync issue Windows 10

Hi

A customer is having an issue using Liferay Sync on her Windows 10 computer (Family edition).

Doing the same thing on my Windows 10 computer (Professional edition) works fine.

We both use version 3.4.10. We also tried version 3.4.5 and had the same result.

When doing the steps of adding a site to sync:
Click the button "start syncing", an error icon shows up a the top of the window, but no message is displayed.
Click "X" at the top of the window to exit.
The site has (expectedly I guess) not been added.
Stop Liferay Sync.

Looking at the logs, there is no error.

Restarting Liferay Sync, we see the site has (unexpectedly) been added to the list of accounts.
Click "manage sites"
Select a site
Click "Update"
Again an icon is displayed without a message.
The text of the "Update" button is modified to "Confirm" (see screenshot), but clicking it doesn't do anything. On my computer, the text of that button is modified to "Confirmed!" before returning to the accounts list window.


 

Again the logs are not showing any error.

I tried modifying the loglevel to TRACE and testing again, but that did not give much helpful information either.
Perhaps one thing, I can see differs in the logs, I can see more "[NativityControl:96] Firing message: getFileIconId" on the working computer than on the one with the error.

Any help would be appreciated
