RE: Error "BeanLocator is not set for servlet context "
Hello,
I've setup a portal, with liferay 6.1.1, tomcat 7 and mysql 5, actually I'm trying to do some local development, once tomcat is started e configurated with liferay, I can access to the portal but when i want to enter in a section of the portal(a particular table) I've got in the logs this error "BeanLocator is not set for servlet context " , in the portal a message says that I cannot access to that table.
Thanks in advice.
Best regards
Gianni.
You've set up server-side software released in 2013, that is not even on the latest GA of its major release, in 2021? That's brave.
6.1.x has been superceded by 6.2 in 2013, and even 6.2 that is long out of service (and that includes the standard lifetime of the enterprise-supported version).
I don't even have the JDK available from that ancient past any more, and you'll get more and quicker help if you'd update to a current version. That being said, the error message rings a bell, but I haven't seen it for so long that I can't recall anything about it.
