RE: Liferay DXP :static content deployment on Web Server
Hi,
Looking for ideal approach for static content deployment on web server in Liferay DXP.
Any idea please?
Regards
Sushil
For anyone at Liferay reading, I think this is going to become more and more of an ask in order to bypass modern site building.
Ideally there should be a way to import content created in an external editor (that is to say a non-liferay site builder). That way people can get around the difficulties that Liferay presents to content creation and essentially save time in trying to import pages to Liferay.
Static pages are also very helpful in terms of putting up content in an iFrame. So it would be very helpful to be able to upload a flat HTML file and pull it from documents and media WITHOUT it "downloading" to the users downloads folder. You'd want the iFrame src to be /documents/342342343/5435/index.html and have it display in the browser, not triggger a download.
That would be increadibly useful.
