RE: Insert Data to Liferay from external Source
Hello,
I have a question concerning the possibility of Liferay to add Informations from a Typo3-Form (external Webseite) into the Backend of Liferay and finally into the Database. The reason is there is an external website, and the Costumer does not want a redirection to Liferay's Frontend nor the use of the Iframe to add it to the external Source.
Is there a way to achieve these requirement by using Liferay over its API or is there an other way?
Servus Reiner,
I have no experience with Typo3 but to me that is not a Liferay specific problem. Easiest way would surely be to just deliver JSON from your TYPO3-Instance to a REST-Controller and from thereon do what you have to do with the data.
Hope this helps.
Hello Harry
thank you, i will check it out
Of course it's possible. Are you referring to Liferay's built-in data? Or custom entities that you've created? Or data that might live in a separate database that happens to also be displayed in Liferay?
The answer to your question would depend on your answers to these counterquestions
Thank you, for your answer.
The agency who host the Website (external Source) ask me for access
data to Liferays Rest API but I dont know how to get these access data
nor how they want to import these values into Liferay.
This is
the reason i cannot answer your counterquestions.
I ask them for more Information but i still waiting for response. With the main question above, i want to get information if something like this is possible.
i will be get back later, if a have more information.
thanks and have a nice day.
