Customize site url in Liferay 7.2

Customize site url in Liferay 7.2

I need to customize site url, instead "www.xxx.com/web/site-name/home", I want "www.xxx.com/portal/{language}/home".

Can we achieve this in Liferay 7.2?

Note: {language} is en for English or fr for French etc.

Any suggestions are much appreciated.

Set a virtual host name for your site's public pages, then name the pages according to your naming preference.

If you have web server then you can also try using  rewite module and  replace the url with your desired pattern . Refer
