How to implement Openam OpenID Connect authentication in LR 7.3?

Below steps are follwed:

1. Deployed openam war inside tomcat/webapps.

2. Enabled OpenID via liferay control panel.

 

How to get client id and secret id from openam?

Hey Mahammad, have a look at the documentation: https://learn.liferay.com/dxp/latest/en/installation-and-upgrades/securing-liferay/configuring-sso/other-ssos/using-openid-connect.html

Aside from enabling it, you need to configure the Open ID Connect Provider

I have implemented openAM 6.5 in Liferay 7.3.

Steps:-

1. Deployed openam 6.5 war inside tomcat/webapps.

2. Create Client under Application/Oauth 2.0

3. Enable OpenID Connector under liferay control panel.

4. Add provider name and other details.

I guess you need to set those values also in OpenAM. check the OpenAM documentation: https://backstage.forgerock.com/docs/openam/13/admin-guide/#chap-openid-connect
