Hi all,
For the new version 7.1 CE, I do not want the site's name shown beside the logo. How to hide it?

Hi, 

If you are using the "Classic Theme" there is a setting for the "Site Name" shown or hide, when you choose the theme for "Public/Private Pages".

If you have a Custom Theme, you can control yourself (with a "theme setting" or just putting off the site name beside the logo on your html).

it is not there show site name.

Hello, you are accessing the "Instance Settings",  you need to do this for the Site, go to Pages → the Site (public or private), and click the Gear icon  → Looking and feel.
