Versioning and store Liferay data in GIT/SVN and promoting to production
I am new to liferay. Is there any standard way to manage the artifacts like fragments,Webcontenet in versioning tool like git/svn etc so that it becomes available to everyone in the team and versioning. I have read through Site initilizer wihich allow ro create site in first go. But after that for subsequent releases how can we make the content etc developed in development environment avaiable in production. I belive LAR file is not the way as it has lot of disadvantages.For DB upgrade we have UpgradeStepRegistrator . Please help as we need to start development .
