RE: how to make navigation menu to default?
hi
because i just upgrade from 6.2 to 7.3.
after i upgrade, my navigation menu is failed but no exception message in console. it isn't big deal so far, but I am worried that other users are also confused by the same problem.
i have two questions.
1. is there have any way to turn it back to default of 7.3? and how?
2. No problems occurred during the upgrade of db from 6.2 to 7.3. However, when restarting and logging in, there was a problem that the png file could not be found and could not be logged in. This problem was solved after copying the \data\document_library folder. Is this the same problem? Do I have any other information that needs to be copied?
thank you.
update
i found same issue in
it seens like only happen when upgrade from 6.x to 7.x.
due to i did nothing in navigation menu, if i can just turn it to 7.x default will be fine.
Navigation is a lot different now. Coming from 6.2 you're probably expecting the main menu to be the "Public Pages Hierarchy" which should still be the default. Can you get into the portlet configuration at all, if not are there any logs in the server console that can help others help?
I did see an issue upgrading 7.0 to 7.2 where the pages went missing, they were still there but they wouldn't load up in the new "Millier Columns". So that's something to check too, can you get into Site Builder > Pages and see the pages in the "MacOS finder style columns"?
no, i cannot find what you said.
and, actually, i did nothing in nevigation menu of 6.2, i just want it can turn to 7.3 default.
thank you very much for reply
have a nice day
