Web Content – Add to Page Permissions Not Working
Version: Liferay 7.2.0 GA1
I created a new user and added the user to custom role as well as Administrator role. I want to add this custom role under ‘Add to Page’ permissions for ‘Web Content’ component located in Control Panel > Configuration > Components > Web Content. Web Content component only has the ‘Power User’ role listed with ‘Add to page’ permissions.
I verified every permission is checked with ‘All Sites’ under my custom role > Define Permissions > Web Content. Unfortunately, the user is unable to add new web content after selecting Site > Web Content > Basic Web Content, but a folder can be created under Content and Data > Web Content. The title and content areas of ‘basic web content’ are ‘greyed out’ and cannot be edited. Also, the user is unable to create a blog entry. This user must have full permissions over web content, blogs, pages, etc. What am I overlooking with Administrator and my custom role permissions?
