Hi,

I have Liferay 7.2

I use this taglib to print current time: <@liferay.date format="dd/MM/yyyy HH:mm" /> in my theme

I want to change the timezone settings from:

Control Panel → Configuration -> Instance Settings -> Localization -> TImeZone

In front-end i always get the same time with any option.

 

How can i change the locale time?

That setting changes the timezone of the server, but when you're logged in your user account also has a timezone that didn't change. Try logging out and see which timezone the unauthenticated user is using. Or change your user account's timezone, rather than the portal's.
