Does Liferay dxp support Angular 7

Hi,

I have created a Liferay module project with npm-angular template. It is using the angular version 5. My requirement is to use angulr 7. Is it possiblke to use angular 7 in liferay dxp(7.1). I am facing some issue when I try to upgrade the angular version for  version 5 to version 7.

Did you find any resolution so far ? I am afraid that I am in the same situation - creating a portlet with versions later than Angular 5 is capricious.

I am no Angular user, but maybe you could explain what issues you face? Maybe people here can tell you how to work around them.

Have you tried to use the liferay-js-toolkit instead?
