Hi everyone!
I haven't been here for a while writing more on Slack, but maybe it's better to go back to forums as they allow to have longer-lasting conversations which are not deleted once the message limit is reached
We have an experimental side project running CE version on 7.3, and we stumbled upon an issue that has been in CMS/WCM world forever - copying from Word and pasting to Liferay. Did anyone have any experiences on that with the new fragment approach (mainly Paragraph and Heading fragments)? There used to be a CKEditor plugin in the past and I’m wondering if I should try to apply that to current Liferay editor.

Hello,
On a Mac, I simply press and hold (keys) OPTION - COMMAND - SHIFT and V
This pastes without the formatting provided by Word. I suspect that a PC will have a similar key combination.
I hope that this helps.

Yes, I'm aware of that. The goal is though not to loose the general formatting (e.g. headers) but strip off all the unnecessary styling, table of contents etc.
Understood. Can't help further, other than to ask if you've seen the following blog and the plans for the CKEditor4?https://liferay.dev/blogs/-/blogs/rich-content-editor-strategy-in-dxp
Best wishes. Nick

Yes, I've read the blog. I'll play around with that plugin to CKEditor and try to tune it to our needs.
Thanks!
