RE: liferay 7 tutorials
Hello guys
I was searching web for a complete and coherent tutorial for liferay 7 , i couldn't find what i wanted . Is there anything like " liferay in action " for liferay 7 or not ? or any book that cover most important parts ? or any course ? or for example some full samples (for example developing a portal or website for a company ).
and another question , if there is no book or complete tutorial for version 7 , Is it good to read liferay in action for 6.1 instead or not ? I mean after all 6.1 still is a liferay so there should be very similarities .

These come to my mind:
Once you're done with those, it's good to follow the blog articles, as they give more detail to some of the questions.

If you're looking for technical development information: No. Liferay's architecture changed completely and is now OSGi based and extremely modularized. None of the old versions of developing on Liferay are guaranteed to work any more (apart from JSR-286 Portlets, but even those are better written as OSGi services than as portlets)
Hi All,
https://portal.liferay.dev/docs/7-2/user have all the documentation but I m not able to go through the complete documentation in order. If we use search something in google it displays multiple links with different versions and displays older version's documentation at the top in some case.
Is there any pdf / book kind of documentation / topics index provided for each version so that it will be easy for us to follow.
Thanks in Advance.
Regards,
Aravinth

Aravinth Kumar:
As I understand, this is a topic that's currently being worked on. Not a PDF, but a unified version of documentation for 7.x that Google can make sense of. And it seems to be just around the corner.
