RE: Problem when starting Liferay 7.x tomcat server
Hello community
I have installed liferay 7.2 ce ga1 in my local environment + MySql in order to build my first liferay 7.2 theme, but I have a problem when starting the tomcat 9 server, It is not started but it is still in the " [main][ModuleFrameworkImpl:1319] Starting initial bundles " step, maybe it has a crash something else, Im not sure ...
a screshot can well explain the situation ,

Any suggestion is appreciated, thank you so much

There is no reason to be launching 7.2 GA1 since 7.2 GA2 exists. Always start with the latest GA that you can find.
How long does it sit like this? Have you given it time to do what it needs to do?
I'm assuming that MySQL and everything is running locally on your laptop. Do you have enough resources to run everything, or is the system busy swapping memory pages out to disk to cover eclipse, tomcat+liferay, mysql, etc at the same time?

It's been a long time since I've last installed Liferay in a directory with spaces... you may want to try without them
+1 to Olaf for catching that detail...
