Adding content is now much harder

The difference is stark and a step backwards for users
I'm not even going to try to attempt to fix the formatting issues with this post due to alloy editor.
Old way (7.0)1) Add a page from product menu by selecting public > add a page
2) Add a web content display
3) Use the plus icon in the web content topper
4) Select basic web content and publish content New way (7.2)1) Go to Content > web content in product menu
2) Use the blue plus button to add content based on a template
3) Choose Basic Web Content
4) Add your content and save
5) Go to Site Builder > Pages
6) Faff around with miller columns, add a content page
7) Save the page
8) Edit the page
9) Drag a web content widget
10) Use the configuration cog because the overlay blocks you from using the hyperlink in the content display
11) Use the select web content button
12) Try to find your web content article
13) Select it and save the configuration
14) Publish the page

Timeout messages never stay on the screen, leading users to continue their activity after a timeout and getting forbidden messages. https://issues.liferay.com/browse/LPS-107574
