RE: WebContent Search in Liferay 7.1
Hi, we are trying to upgrade from Liferay 6.2 to 7.1.3 GA 4 and we are missing the portlet "WebContent-Search" available in Liferay 6.2. When attempting to replicate the function with the "Search Portlet", we come across the problem of finding articles that are not included in any page and this search results are displayed outside of the context, if the user click them. Author, creation date or avatar are also not relevant for us, on the search results page. In addition, also users or documents are displayed in the search results, which is not our goal.
Is there a way for Liferay 7 to get the search functionality for WebContent as in Liferay 6.2?

Hi Gerta,
I think you can get the web content search portlet in 7.x using facets:
https://portal.liferay.dev/docs/6-2/tutorials/-/knowledge_base/t/faceted-search-and-customized-search-filtering
I hope it helps.
