Hi,

I create an entry in this thread because i can't find a specific thread about the Liferay university courses. One of the videos of the back-end developer course, exactly the lesson "Implement access control" has a problem with the subtitles, in English don't correspond with the content of lesson.

Regards

Thank you, Luis,
noted and the team is notified. Sorry for the inconvenience.
In many courses, Backend Developer included, you can find a discussion area just to the right of the videos. We've recently introduced these (but aren't fully done enabling them in all courses).

A few tiny other suggestions:
-) Not all videos show a playing time (at least listing the full time of all videos would be nice)
-) Version info: Some stuff in the videos does not apply to all versions of Liferay. Some options are simply not there in Liferay 7.0 and even 6.2 is probably still quite alive. (And if a video is maybe later on replaced, keeping the old version would be nice too)

Thanks for the feedback, Christoph,

Time: Noted, unfortunately the playing time for the videos must be entered manually, and probably it got lost for some of them.

For the version, you can assume that the current (as of April 2019) courses and lessons on Liferay University all are built for DXP 7.1 (and mostly to CE 7.1). With the upcoming courses for 7.2, we'll make sure that the applicable version is clearly stated in each course. We're currently working on the upgraded University 2.0, which will also introduce Liferay's other products that have their own versions and lifecycle.

And a quick remark: The subtitles from the original post in this thread are fixed.
