RE: Web content from parent does not display images in child site?

Hi all,

I have the following situation.
  1. Uploaded images to document and media in parent,
  2. Create web content in parent using these images
  3. In child site I display the parent web conent
  4. When logged in  the picture show fine in the child site
  5. When I view the web site as guest the pictures do not show just broken image icon. Text from the parent web content shows fine.
  6. I have check the permissions of the images in the parent and guest has view access
  7. I am using local staging in the child site
  8. The parent site does not use staging.
Please let me know where I should look to correc the issue. I looks like a permission issue to me but I can see where to set the permissiosn that have not already been set.

It turns out the folder in "documents & media" did not have any permissions for guest. I gave guest "access" permissions and it works now. Not sure why the images had default "view" and "access" permissions for guest but not the folder.
