Liferay version 6.2. GA6+.

I mistakenly deleted a root folder for one of the sub sites.

Is there a way I can reset or sync the cache for this? Here are the screenshots.

Any tips are welcome.

Hi Joey Wong,

How did you delete the root folder?

  • Using Liferay interface (I think this is not possible)
  • Calling a API?
  • Deleting something from database?

In fact, root folder doesn't exists in "DLFolder" table (Liferay uses folderId=0 identifier) so perhaps you deleted any other related thing.

 

Can you give more information about your deletion operation? (perhaps go to a site that is working fine and explain which buttons or links did you use)

Via a series of clicks via web app.

Yes it is doubtful but I can't really recall the exact steps to reproduce this.

 

You know of any trick to fix this?
