RE: Import Liferay 7.0 .lar into 7.1
Hello,
I tested Liferay 7.0 CE (build 7006) back in April this year for a project. I exported the resulting configuration and sites. Now I wanted to import this lar file into a new installed Liferay 7.1 CE. There is now error while doing this, but it doesn't show any result. The sites aren't there as well as the webconcent etc. Is there a possibility to export sites in a lar from 7.0 and import them in 7.1?
Thanks!
Regards,
Silvia

Silvia GerberSimple answer: No. LAR is for exactly the same version to be used in ex- as in import.

Thank you for the simple answer.
Would it be possible to upgrade the old system to 7.1 and then export it and import it on the new system (also 7.1)?

Sure SIlvia, that's a valid approach.
