RE: Liferay 7.0 GA5 Control Panel Roles Portlet doesnt have edit button
Hi I installed liferay-ce-portal-7.0-ga5 on wildfly-10.0.0 on my Oracle linux server. When I go to control panel and click roles there are no buttons to edit next to all the items in the roles list such (Administrator, Guest, Owner etc..). Please help me as to what went wrong
Attachments:
Are you using a user who has permission to edit the roles? If not, try signing in as a user with the Administrator role?
Any errors in the console/logs?
Yes I am sign in as an administrator. But I think the layout is different. As uninstalled and revert back to GA3.
But do you know how I can create JUNIT testcases and run it in liferay? I would like to call the userLocalServiceUtil.getUser method to return users from the DB.
please
advise
Kevin

Knowing that you reverted back to GA3 and seeing your screenshot again (there's some missing images/icons), you may have a broken installation. Reverting to an older GA hasn't been tested so it may have caused some unexpected behavior. I'm not exactly sure what you did to revert to GA3, but my suggestion is to start with a clean GA5 installaion and make sure eveverything is working as expected. After that, point this installation to your exisiting database and /data folder.
Sorry for the confusion but I re-install a new GA3 and its fine. I would rather upgrade 7.1 But I have been having issue with the upgrade tool. Do you have the documentation or instructions how to upgrade from 7.0 GA3 to 7.1 on wildfly 10. Please advise
Thanks,
Kevin
