LAR import never finish

Hi everybody,

 

I'm trying to import a LAR file (20MB) to a new Liferay (7 ga5) installation using Publish/Import option, but after select the LAR file nothing happen and the progress bar show the same status.

I'm searched linux logs, jboss logs and liferay log but I can't find any trace.

I really appreciate your help, thank you.

How long did you wait?  Sometimes it can take a bit for it to finish or fail w/ some further info.

Sometimes I waited up to one hour. No progess, no error message, no logs.

Hi Jimmy,

 

To be able to know if the import process is working, increase the trace level for classes related to this, find by import, export and lar in the log level section. You can also take several thread dumps every 5 or 10 seconds to know what the jvm is doing.

I'm obtained some thread dumps (attached files) but I can't see any abnormal. I'd activated full logs for all import options, but no trace added during the import process.

 

Any other idea?
