RE: Sync "Force Security Mode" on Windows: suggestion
From what I've read, the "Force Security Mode" setting only affects mobile apps, making sure the device is encrypted. This means that if the device is stolen the files are not visible.
I'd like to suggest that this setting should be read by the Liferay Sync Windows client also, so that only PCs with Bitlocker active would be able to sync files.
This would greatly increase the security of the files on laptops.
Currently, Sync is allowing sensitive files to be copied to insecure PCs and, since the server logic is already in place, with a small change on the Windows Client, we would be able to use Sync much more often.
Is this a goo idea? Is there any chance we can get this in a foreseeable future?
Thanks
Fernando
P.S.: I might have a go at this problem myself, someday, if the Liferay Sync team has no time for it. For that I'd appreciate any suggestions on where to find the code and how to start.

That's a pity. It's really an itch I would like to scratch. :-)
Thanks
