The order in which categories are added and the order in which the
categories are displayed are inconsistent. How do I sort the display
of categories specifically?
You probably need to hook
asset-categories-navigation-web/src/main/resources/META-INF/resources/view.jsp
or maybe the relevant taglib to change the display order.
